Back in 2014, when assigned his final academy project, Shimoni was looking for a way to visually communicate Y generation with history's greatest. The idea to Hipsterize history's greatest struck Shimoni when Googling photos of 20th century leaders and getting very bad results; black&white, fade and old photographs. This, comparing to any random 18-year-old teenager that when Googling their name one can find endless good condition photos. This brought to life HIPSTORY - Shimoni’s way to visually connect us with world visionaries who changed the course of history.
Today HIPSTORY is an on going project with a new HIPSTORY character every 2 months. The idea is to give today's generation access to history's finest, and creating a world of ON GOING HISTORY.
